There are a few lowers that have a tension screw hole to ensure you upper does not 'rattle' against the lower. Mine didn't come with one, so a bit of research I came across this one. Works great and does what it is supposed to.

This Aero Precision nylon tipped tension set screw took a few weeks to get in but I was ordering to have a couple extra anyway. It did not fit in my Spikes lower but all the other lowers seem to be standardized. I called Spikes and they sent me a rinky dink tension screw but it worked.

This little screw tales up the slack between upper and lower receiver and turns a rattly AR into a tight fitting and quality feeling firearm. I'm not sure it will help accuracy but hey, can't hurt. Best $2 spent on my AR

Don't know why apf folders don't come the tensioner screw? So I order this one from optics planet(aero p part) fit perfect so off we go

I bought the Aero Precision Nylon Tipped Tension Screw as a spare part but I ended up using for my SCO-15 lower receiver as it doesn't come with one. It fit perfectly and works as expected. Definitely would recommend it and will buy it again because it is always good to have a spare.

This is a great addition to your lower. My understanding is that it will improve accuracy by securing and aligning the upper to the lower and prevent scope misalignment. Make sure your lower is fitted with the threaded channel below the rear takedown pin. If you don't see the channel, then your lower wasn't made with this feature and you can't screw this set screw up through the channel above the grip (grip must be removed to install). Consider an Accu-wedge if you don't have this feature manufactured with the lower.
