I was initially concerned about a proper functioning recoil spring for an AR 9mm with a blowback system. I originally looked at a standard AR spring, separate heavy buffer, and a spikes tactical spacer. Fortunately though, this offers all three in one package. As for function, I have had zero issues running my AR 9mm.

Worked well with the Angstadt setup! Built the gun exactly as is sold complete by Angstadt with all factory components, no issues whatsoever cycling with 500 rounds down range. Can’t go wrong with anything Angstadt, quality parts all the way! So if your needing a quality part for ur ar9 build, try this spring out, comes with spacer an buffer.

I bought this kit because it included everything for an AR9 build. Each piece has a very nice finish to it and has proven to be very durable and reliable. I have this set behind a 16" overall length barrel (14.25 w/o flash hider) and I have fired ammo from factory charge defensive ammo down to hand loaded, low charge target rounds and have had absolutely no cycling issues. There is no hard recoil with the factory charges and no evidence of wanting to short cycle with the low velocity (<900fps) target ammo. All in all a very nice kit for an AR9 carbine.

This works flawlessly for 9mm. I'm running the mean arms p mag kit and the trybe defense 9mm bcg. 200 rds so far not one problem. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Was really unsure which buffer to go with. Glad I went this route

Works perfect with carbine stock. Original buffer was bit too heavy. So i swapped out spring and buffer for Angstadt arms buffer and spring! Smooths out recoil also shooting 124 grn jacketed ammo! I used this on a Colt 9mm Match Target with a 3lb Timney drop in trigger. So much fun to bang on steel!

Good buffer weight and spring 150 rounds through holding up just fine. Previously had a flat spring with 7 ounce weight bolt moved to slow couple failures to feed and to eject !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
