Do you know the feeling of a spring flying across the room?? Not with this kit,you’ll have the backup ones. Plus these are stainless which makes the detents a added plus. I can not say anything bad about this kit. One real positive thing is it is cheap! Will buy again. And again.

Comparing this to your average spring/ opps kits and you will notice a difference immediately. I did not expect to notice a difference with the springs, but I could immediately tell the difference by the tint and tension of the springs right away. Now, since I always custom build most of my LPK, this is my go to for the remaining parts required for my builds. I always make it a point to have the best quality in my ARs, no matter how small the component.

Package came on time and packed well. Springs seem really nice. Everything you need for a new build. Or just spares. If you have a mid tier lower, or just need or want replacement parts. These are good to go. Strong and corrosion resistant. Will buy again

I ordered this kit because it was the parts that I needed without a bunch of parts that I didn't need, and the detents are all stainless steel. My only compliant is that the takedown/pivot pin detents were not machined after cutting from the stock and there is a burr on both ends of each of the detents. That burr is cutting into the takedown and pivot pins which has cut through the anodizing but also prevents the smooth operation of the pins. I will be replacing with something else.

I bought this thinking this would be a perfect fit for my new build but… The pins for the pivot pins were not macined to an angle that would work for the pivot pins. No big deal i just chucked them in a drill and got some sand paper. After 2000 grit and some jewelers rouge on a cotton wheel they were a mirror finish and was the smothest operation ive ever felt for takedown pins. I had the same issue for the safety detent as well. So if you dont want to take the time and dont have the equipment then I do not recommend these.

I keep telling myself I'm going to be more careful when installing detents but then I shoot my buffer detent across the garage into god-knows what box of misc junk. Thankfully, having a few of these kits on hand alleviates having to search for a needle in a haystack.
