These Takedown/Pivot Pins are a nice blue color. The kit comes with the springs and detents required for installation. I installed the pins in an Aero Precision Lower Receiver and they were tight fitting, even with lubrication. The rear pin ended up getting scratched and removed some of the blue because the fit was tight. I was a little upset about that but I’ll just have to get over it. 4 stars for not being able to remove the pins with just my fingers. I have to use something to push them out.

These pins are out of spec and will not fit to milspec receivers (tried on LMT, Noveske and Aero). They are light weight, but are also completely useless. I returned mine for a refund, they were the black ones.

Very good finish. Look great. Seem to be holding with no issues. Came with nice stainless springs and detente. Only a small issue on the rear takedown pin. When the pin is fully pulled out, there’s still a tad bit too much pin inside the lower receiver. I have a Bcm upper, tight fit. And when I break the gun down, and close it back. The rear pin catches the upper receiver lug. You can see the wear mark on the pin and upper. Not a really big deal. Could just file it. But that’ll remove the finish. Just gonna let it wear it self in. But if you’re worried about scratches. This is gonna annoy you.
