I picked up the black finished pins and I'm very impressed with the quality. They installed very easily and are a great looking addition to personalize your receiver. Overall the pins hold the set together with zero slop and look excellent.

Installed on a cheap lower that was having problems locking to upper. These made lower and upper lockup and disassembly smooth as can be. The finish is more of a gunmetal grey/black. This makes it look personalized/ custom without going the flashy red/blue route.

I got these because I needed something that fit my .308 Aero Lower M5 Receiver. As some may know, the front pivot pin holes require a longer pin then most as it is a wider receiver. Out of all of my research, these are the only ones that fit. I removed a star simply because the edges were chipped pretty bad which I was able to repair with my aluminum black pen. All in all, these were great as I am now able to finally take down my .308 without extra tools. It still takes some work (which I was happy with), but push from one side and enough grip to pull from the other.

Such a small detail with a big impact on function. I never thought much about takedown pins being all that different. I baight these titanium pins for a weightbsaving build. Wow what a nice upgrade athetically. But the function ourperforms the form. Just a little longervwith the perfect knurl to grip on to and the pristine machining and finish slide in and out like butter. I know, I can't believe I just went on about this pin set this long either but if they are in your budget pick them up. No regrets here.

It's tough to justify paying $40 for a set of takedown pins, but once you have it I promise it's worth every penny. I've rarely seen such flawless machining, and the fit is impeccable. It's tight, but still buttery smooth. You can push them out with your finger, and they snap satisfyingly into place once reinsterted. Lighter than milspec by a noticeable amount. And they're gorgeous.

I have purchased many products from B.A.D and have been impressed with the quality and fit and finish of all of the items. These pivot pins fit perfectly in my Aero Precision M4E1 lower. Rear pin is very low profile so you will need to use a bullet tip or other tool to pop it out enough to get hold of it but love the sleek look it gives.
