I should have listened to the other reviewers. This product is junk. Same issue as everyone else with the set screws. This company used to make quality products but after this POS and waste of money I will never use them for anything anymore.

The screw is stripped that attaches the lever to the button. No way to remove it. This item is junk.

Cheaply made extended mag release. Set screw was put in by factory too much and as soon as I pressed it – it broke off.

I purchased on of these and tried to disassemble it to install it. When trying to loosen the screw to remove the extended button I met resistance. I gave it more force and pop… The screw came out but the extended lever piece was broken. I put in a warranty claim with Battle Arms Development on their website over a week ago and have not heard back from them. I'm very disappointed I got a defective product and more so that the manufacturer has not gotten back with me in a timely manner. I will not be ordering this product again and will think twice before ordering anything else from this manufacturer.

If you're buying this or any custom AR Mag release kit for your AP M5 lower, do note that the mag release arm may not be not long enough to fit and flush the mag release button (this is because AP's mag release button's for the M5 models are taller in height. In this case for Battle Arms Development's kit, the mag release arm was too short. After scouring the Internet to find an easy solution, I found that KAK Industry LLC specifically makes mag release arms that are long enough to accommodate the M5's width.
