Great texture and great rigidity. I got it in green to match the rest of my AR furniture and I would definitely buy it again. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new pistol grip for their AR.

Super fast service from optics planet. Installed the BCM Mod 3 grip on a lower that already had a Hogue ergo rubberized grip when I bought it. I had always wanted the Hogue, but I never liked the grip angle for some reason. I think most mil spec AR style grips have that angle. The BCM was easy to install, and i immediately noticed that it not only had a much more comfortable (straighter) grip angle over the Hogue it filled up my hand which also made it more comfortable. The BCM products are always great, and this was no exception. The fit and finish was excellent, and it was easy to install. The texturing was more robust than I thought it would be from internet pics, and the beavertail is a nice touch. I like the fact that the Mod 3 version of this grip is one piece. Overall, this is a great product, and I plan on installing these on every one of my rifles and future build projects. It's such an improvement (for me personally) that I'm spoiled because of the improvement in overall comfort. It seriously makes going "ready up" with the rifle seem more natural. I can't say enough good things about this product. BCM is too notch and Optics Planet made the entire ordering process a breeze. I will definitely be shopping here again, and BCM will be in those orders.

Ordered the grip in OD green and it's doesn't even come close to matching any of my magpul (OD Green) parts. Grip is more like a mint green. Besides the color I love the angle of this grip. Very comfortable shooting from all positions (even prone). I wear a size large glove. Trigger finger sits right on the center of pad.
