The C-Series Bolt Catch is manufactured to CMMG’s specifications and is intended for use with a CMMG rifle. Using a standard AR-15 bolt catch can create problems with lock back when shooting short round steel shots, bolt catches should not be considered an integral part of an AR-15 bolt catch system as a wear item or a functional part of a bolt catch system. Wear your bolt catch in the same location that you intend to fire it, not at the front of your receiver. We do not recommend using a bolt catch that has a spring or retention that is welded onto the bolt catch as it will release pinched bolts. I have an AR10 I bought that the bolt wouldn’t stay to the rear after the last bullet. The unknown brand bolt catch didn’t fully engage the bolt fade This CMMG bolt catch fixed the problem perfectly. Easy to install. Works great.

I was extremely disappointed when I finished up my Aero M4E1 lower with an Aero parts kit and found that my Magpul BAD lever was very loose and sloppy on the mag catch. I decided to try it on a few others and found that it fit well on my Spikes lower and another Aero that I built with a CMMG kit so I found this to replace the Aero one. Now I have BAD levers on all my rifles and they fit nice and snug. The CMMG LPK’s are now my go to.

The CCMG MK9 bolt catch does in fact work with 80% Colt type 9mm receivers to get that last round hold open. Looks like a sturdy piece of work too.Not too long and not too short, just the thang for that bolt close abort.
