These really make having a California Legal AR less of a hassel… with their Flop Stop you can open the gun drop the magazine and insert a new one very fast and effectively. I would highly recomend these….

though quite pricey, worked as advertised. got myself a king pin since i live in california but it did not work since the pin/spring of my AR15 (DRD-CDR15) is located at the bottom not the back. so if your AR has the pin/spring at the bottom, this is the only solution that works

After following detailed instructions and shimming the buffer tube lock nut I was able to release the uppersatisfactory. Unfortunately thee effect of my lower tipping on its side (equating to maybe a 2" drop) the gun became unusable again. Yes, I did torque the nut.

Not a quick install, needs some fiddling to get the proper clearance but it comes with the shims you’ll need. Mine used the .15 shim. Yours might be different. Follow the instructions.
Vic –
Clear instructions Required a little bit more time than I expected due to having to install a shim, but NBD. Will take some practice to get used to a little more bulk to get around for the safety selector.

Have many of these on AR15's first for AR10! LOVE IT!!!
