The mil-spec buffer tube I received was not manufactured to proper specifications the threads on the runout were not machined down which prevents the stock from fully retracting the finish is horrible especially inside the tube is very rough compared to other tubes I have. This may not be indicative of other tubes as the package this came in leads me to believe it may have been a returned item or may not be a genuine Doublestar product. Unfortunately I can not recommend this tube and will be looking to replace it ASAP.
