When designing our new Fortis Super Lean Sport (SLS) FIFTY, we made sure our brand’s innovation, intent and quality were evident in every aspect of the design. While most AR safety selectors in the market today rely on standard socket/torx screws, the Fortis SS FIFTY was engineered with our patent pending RidgeKey locking mechanism. This system allows the levers to secure itself onto the selector core with a solid point of contact and thus eliminating any weak points in the system. Our selector core is coated in black nitride, giving you a smoother surface and superior resistance to wear. I own two SS and one SLS in TiN body with black arms. Great selectors when assembled properly with white lithium grease on detent and spring(not included). The body/shaft is coated in titanium nitride PVD (physical vapor deposition) not brass but finish is not perfect in the lands/facets that contact the fire control group. Like all safety selectors I've install ranging from $10-$80 they are very firm through the throws but after cycling back and forth 20 or so times with quality lube on the tip of the detent they operate smoothly afterwards. I have had them operating in DPMS, AERO M4E1 & X15, Anderson, American Resistance AR9, and various other lowers with out problems. They work with moat FCGs I've tried except Fostech Echo 2 binaries. Most are paired with Timney Calvin Elite triggers with matching shoe colors.

It's easy to overlook the safety selector when choosing what to upgrade (or even complete a build). Afterall, a mil-spec SS does the job. But the SS is also a critical part of any weapon, and on an AR, it's a frequent touch-point. Too long or too extended out and it will interfere with your trigger hand. Too small or with weak engagement of the detents and it's all too easy to have it misalign. The Fortis SLS SS is the answer to all these issues — and it provides for a rock-solid selector, without wiggle, waggle, or play of any sort. It also looks pretty cool, too.Do your AR a favor an install this SS. You won't be disappointed.

Fits great, love the short throw. Put on an aero x15 lower with rock river 204 upper.

Looks good, nice metallic click! And it’s sturdy! Perfect addition to my Gucci JAKL!

Looks good, feels good and does its job! I definitely recommend!

Bought the black colored one with gold body, well the gold seems to be made of brass or some super soft metal making the detent stick into selector and it's super had to operated have to use both hand really hard to get it out of fire and safe position. Maybe other models will be better but gold selector with black paddles are terrible and are trash, would not recommend.
