The GG&G Receiver End Plate Sling Adapter for Fixed Stocks is ideal for police and military units who prefer the fixed stock for the AR-15 and M-16 rifle. Before the introduction of this GG&G Sling Adapter, these operators were not always using the ideal tactical fixed stock sling configuration for their mission. The GG&G End Plate Sling Adapter allows the use of a tactical sling attached to shoulder-mounted weapons at a single mounting point, without the use of the front sling swivel. Increasingly popular in both military and law enforcement special operations, this configuration allows the operator to mount the weapon on either the primary or offside shoulder. As a consequence, during dynamic entries, the GG&G Tactical Fixed Stock Receiver End Plate Sling Adapter makes it easier to “slice the pie” at doorways and to move around corners, whether they are on the right or left side, without telegraphing the operator’s presence. The GG&G 1130 Receiver End Plate Sling Adapter is made to work with the AR15/M16 fixed stock model. Many operators prefer the M16/AR15 with a fixed stock as it provides a somewhat more stable firing platform. Installation of this unique fixed stock sling adapter is easily accomplished, requiring removal of the fixed buttstock and installation of the new GG&G end plate, adapter spacer and longer screw. This lightweight accessory weighs in at less than one ounce. The receiver end plate has an integral rifle sling mounting point capable of accepting 1-1/4 inch wide webbing. The GG&G Receiver End Plate Sling Adapter can be used to attach conventional slings in conjunction with the weapons front sling swivel. Mounted perfect and is made solid. Would highly recommend. Fit a magpul ms1 sling perfect. This works great with a fixed a1 stock. Gg&g sends a screw and spacer for a a2 stock if needed. If you are looking for a quality product this is it.

i had to whittle my lancer stock to get it to fit. it is very specifically designed for A1 and A2 fixed stocks. that being said whittling worked and im happy with the product, GG&G makes good stuff. Im using a two point set up with the foreward sling further back behind my AFG. when i carry the rifle i can cinch the sling so the rifle is snug to the body and when the rifle is ready the sling wont interfere with my stock, cheek, neck or support hand, its actually better than an M4 pattern with a QD socket because the sling is secured at the higher position.
