This item is a great product for any AR 15- AR-10. I got several of them and Recommend this item.Less recoil on my weapons with a muzzel chock together. It has improved my acuracy on my targets and hunting.Keep up the great job youe doing with this item. Thanks agin and God bless.

The buffer spring was as described and worked very well. It did not fix my short cycling problem but did improve on it. I went from a shorter 39 coil stock DPMS spring to this one that is longer but has 34 coils with a smaller cross section over the flats. After doing some test firing this weekend it would feed occasionally and that is better than before, but the .308 loads seam to be light only around 2300 fps. More testing to come with a little hotter loads.

This spring feels smoother and doesn’t have that usual twang like with the standard buffer spring, but one thing to note about this product is that it is too short and soft for an AR-10 with a rifle length buffer tube, which reduces its ability to slow the bolt velocity sufficiently especially when shooting suppressed. Additionally, it lacks the tension to ram the next round into battery when the rifle collects enough carbon fouling. This might work well with a carbine length 308 buffer tube but based on my experience with it at the range, tthis spring is more ideal for AR-15s. I purchased this for my 308 Super SASS build, but like i said, it was too short and soft, so I ended up moving the spring to my MK12 mod 0 which was a match made in heaven.

If you have ever used any other flat springs you will know this is junk. First off its short for a flat spring at about the same length as a regular carbine spring. It provided no benifits to using a carbine round spring and in most cases ended up overgassed in my ar15 16" As for ar10? Good luck not beating up your gun. I originally bough this spring to replace the stock spring in my 308 16" and ended up using this spring in my 300blk 8 1/2" barrel where it does ok. Time will tell if it has enough to cycle the gun when it gets dirty.
