the ambi-safety was my main reason for buying. the barrel of the safety was slightly larger than the OEM part and took a bit of force to get positioned. once in i realized that the positive clicks were almost non-existent. not good. i took out and tossed it. what a waste. Other parts worked as expected.

Hey fellow gun owners, I just finished my second build (AR pistol) and used several guntec parts. For the most part I had no issues installation until I got to the trigger guard. I had to down just a fraction of it where it slides into the lower receiver. Not really a big deal was just concerned about matching the paint up (red). Luckily I was experimenting with filling in the fire and safe and had paint close to the color. Sanded it dow, painted it and after drying installed it, can’t see the difference, Thanks to Lamar at optics planet and guntec I saved money and was able to buy the higher end parts I wanted barrel BCG trigger good luck on your build

The finish on this product feels and looks like someone used a can of spray paint and painted the lower trigger guard, mag release and the safety selectors. For your money, there are better products out there with better finishes that don't cost as much.

The fit is extremely tight which makes the functionality of this product untrustworthy when selecting between the fire and safety positions. There is also a gap between the side of the lower on both sides when installed.
