I needed a buffer tube for a current build. Saw this was cheaper than others online, so I bought it. It fits, does what is supposed to, and was at a decent price. I would buy this again, and I do recommend buying this if you need a mil-spec 6-position buffer tube.

This JE Machine Tech Ar15/AR10 Mil spec 6 -position buffer tube is made durable and will prove reliable for you next AR build! The six position slide on this buffer is a good relacement if you have a standard 5 position buffer tube that comes with your Sb stock. I got this to pair with JE Machine Carbine Buffer, affordable and outstanding quality.

All mil-spec are including materials. Only 7075 aluminum can be called mil-spec. This tube is only 6061, an aluminum alloy that is much softer than what mil-spec tube uses.I'd not suggest anyone to use 6061 material on the buffer tube.

received buffer tube and visual was a high quality item, installed the buffer tube with no issues. When I was test firing the gun though, I noticed issues. The area where the spring retainer pin is located had longer cut outs on the sides where the pin comes through the buffer tube, which the bolt would hit when firing. I dissassembled and took the tube one full turn out, which barely caught the spring pin at this point and problem was solved. Matched the black on Aero receiver.
