This JP-SPEC revision of the standard Mil-spec buffer tube improves on the original in both design and finish. The manufacturer have included an addition stock position (for a total of seven) and given a finer surface finish for smoother function. After seeing reviews and complaints from others ordering from OP across the board, I was a little worried about my order being incomplete, wrong or even showing up. The listing was for Buffer tube, Castle nut and End plate all for the same price that everywhere else wanted for the Buffer tube by itself. I expected maybe for it to arrive without the other parts but when it got here, it was well packed and complete as listed. JP has some of the highest quality parts in the AR industry and these parts were no exception. The tube is really nicely finished including the inside. The castle nut has a few notches in it for easy staking.Overall, everything is super high quality and the price is by far the best you're going to find anywhere, even without any promo discounts. which is what the 5 star rating is specifically for.OP gets 3.5 stars at best based on price and delivery times. I really wish shipping didn't take so long but luckily I wasn't in a hurry. Once it was shipped it arrived in a reasonable time.

This is one of best buffer tubes available. I bought to upgrade a 6.5 mm Grendel I have for Hunting. The tube is a tight Milspec and the coating is very durable. As a bounus it has 7 adjustment spots instead of the standard 6.

Very nice finish and with the grove in the bottom lining up with the end plate it makes alignment a breeze. The 7 positions works great for everyone yo get the length of pull aven closer. Add an adjustable butt stock for the perfect fit.
