The JPFC-MDL conversion allows one to run a standard, full size JP Flattop Bolt Carbine with a compact, lightweight rifle. The lower profile housing and all steel construction make this lever a durable and integral part of any pistol or rifle setup. With your modular charging handle installed the rifle becomes fully JP Enterprises modular, giving you the flexibility to convert to a carbine, rifle or shotgun. With the stock hammer handle the rifle becomes fully JP Enterprises modular. The lower half of the lever is where the “must not travel” portion of the lever sits. The extra height provides the shooter with a greater reach and the “must not travel” portion of the lever causes the shooter to tuck the safety away into his pocket or stub.
