I've assembled many AR's over the years and have bought many lower parts kits. I usually have to either file, polish or otherwise modify the trigger, sometimes relenting and purchasing an expensive aftermarket trigger. For whatever reason (perhaps it's the luck of the draw) this trigger is outstanding…. right out of the box. Smooth, crisp and zero grittiness.Next time I'm in the market for another lower parts kit, I'll try this one again for sure.

The kit I received does not match the kit in the picture. I'm not sure if that explains the issue, but I tried installing two separate kits on two separate lowers and the safety selector detent is not long enough. The lowers are DPMS Gen 1, and I found this kit when searching for "dpms gen 1 lower parts kit". Everything else appears to install properly and function.

I will use this every time I need this part for another build. Everyone needs one and more expensive one's don't usually add functional improvement so save some money with this and not a BCG or barrel.

Have been great parts quality materials and solid not light weight like other brands, never had any problems at all and fit like a glove on all the builds that I used KAK lower parts, I try to get them as a personal preference, recommend them to anyone else that builds or wants to upgrade their lower parts definitely, AES

Appears good quality. Have not assembled yet. I need a machining print for a 308 lower. Everybody else buys a jig and uses a router. I am a machinist and have a milling machine. I prefer to do it that way!

I didn’t have any problems with this other than the fact that the front pivot pin is not machine properly. It is supposed to be flattened where it would otherwise interfere with the receiver towards the rear of the pin as it inserts, otherwise it won’t allow insert entirely. However, if you take off flat grinding wheel on a Dremel and you can flatten That pivot pin until it seats properly, which is probably easier than ordering a separate pivot pin set unless you happen to be reading this before you purchase this kit. I won’t comment on the trigger components because I think most people reading this who are building their own set ups will probably have their own triggers anyway and will either put these in the parts drawer or throw them out entirely in the trash.
