The KynSHOT RB5000HP Recoil Buffer is designed For AR-15 applications that run excessively hard such as suppressed, over-gassed carbines or ‘Thumpers’ like the .50 Beowulf and .458 SOCOM. Made using 17-4 stainless steel, the RB5000HP KynSHOT Recoil Buffer AR-15 is a proven system that has seen heavy use with civilian competition shooters, law enforcement personnel. This buffer has patented damping technology to absorb the shock of impact from the bolt carriers rearward motion and to prevent bolt bounce as a new cartridge is chambered. The RB5000HP KynSHOT Recoil Buffer reduces felt recoil by 20-30%, while largely eliminating muzzle flip. The improvement in weapon accuracy – specifically second and third shot accuracy – is large as shooters report that their time to reacquire a target decreases, and in many cases never leaves their scope sights. Installed this in my banshee 45 with the sprinco red spring. Definite recoil improvement.

I originally purchased one of these for my 10.5 inch AR15 pistol. I paired it with a Rubber City Armory titanium lightweight BCG, and I had a WAY LARGER improvement than the 15-30% (as advertised) in recoil reduction, target reacquisition, and overall comfortability while firing the gun. This piece is amazing, and I’ve never had more fun shooting. It eliminates a lot of the fatigue at the range, and also improves every shot after your first one out of the magazine. It’s so smooth following up with your 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 28th shot (etc).I now put these in all of my AR15 builds. If you are building your first SBR or AR15 pistol build, I HIGHLY recommend getting a Kynshot buffer. It’s a must have for any build in my opinion.

Using these in 7.62×39 uppers. That round has roughly 25% more recoil than 5.56 and this shows up as higher cyclic rates. Using the Kynshot HP is one part of really calming the recoil impulse to be more manageable. I have had one leak which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. Kynshot replaced it quickly but it still happened. I have bought a second one to test in conjunction with the replacement to setup a second lower. Looking forward to testing in PCCs also.

I contacted KynShot and this is what they recommended to use with a CMMG Banshee. I was a little skeptical about how much of a difference it would make but I decided to give it a go. There was a marked difference between this and a conventional buffer. They say it reduces felt recoil by 1/3 and I believe them. After getting this I immediately bought another model that will work with an AR-10. Worth the extra money if you are dealing with children or people that are recoil sensitive.
