Ordered two of them and both were of different finishes. The first one had a rough textured finish and the other was somewhat better. The Magpul MOE carbine stock will not slide over this buffer tube. I manually pushed one in as far as I possibly could, and couldn't get it off without having to attach a ratchet strap. The threads were marred and I had to clean them before threading into the lower. Luckily I had some new Aero precision buffer tubes in which I used instead. Stay away from this product!
