They may function correctly as safety selectors. However, the selectors designated by Optics Planet as being left handed are actually standard right handed selectors. They don't appear to have machining or finish defects.

This safety lever is a standard design that puts the lever on the left side of the receiver for use by the right thumb of a right handed shooter. It is not for use by left handed shooters. Just a regular AR safety. Works if that is what you are after. Buyer beware.
