Perfect for all long-range shooting disciplines, the MDT Vertical Grip Premier allows fore and aft adjustment to accommodate any hand size. Proper finger and hand placement are crucial for precision marksmanship. Due to varying hand size, marksmen often struggle with finger placement on the trigger. Not anymore. Fore and aft adjustment allows for perfect finger placement, and the vertical grip facilitates a straight pull on the trigger. Easily adjustable. Realizing that the vertical grip orientation is the preferred position for some competition shooters, we at MDT have created our Adjustable Vertical Grip, consisting of a polymer core and two polymer side panels. The panels are removable and hold a similar shape to our original MDT Pistol Grip to provide comfort and hand support whether shooting prone or in position. With our usual theme of modularity, these panels have been designed to slide forward and back allowing shooters to custom fit the grip to their liking. MDTs Vertical Grip Premier is compatible with standard AR pistol grip boss which means it can be used on any chassis in our product line and many from other manufacturers as well. The MDT Vertical Grip Premier is compatible with all of our MDT chassis systems for bolt action rifles. I like the design of the grip, but fitment is a bit loose and seen cracking around plugger holes at the top. Wish the adjustment screws were designed with an integrated nut system instead of a loose nut type.

I bought this for a 10/22 build on an Enoch Deep Six chassis because it was one of the very few vertical grips without a beaver tail. The build quality and texture of the grip is quite nice, and the adjustability allows for fine tuning of one's trigger finger position. What's not really mentioned or shown is just how wide this grip is. Those with large hands will find it comfortable, but smaller hands may not be able to use this device at all.Anyone who thinks a Magpul K2XL grip is too large will encounter the same issue here. Finally, the device is sturdy, but it will be more at home at the benchrest than in the field. There are better options if ruggedness and strength is a priority. It's not the sort of grip you grab the gun by, it's the sort of grip you use to skillfully squeeze a trigger in a stable environment.

I have smallish hands and this grip is a bit fat for me. There's no reason it couldn't be made thinner for a better fit. Too, the screws would be easier to start to thread if they were a bit longer. But making the grips a bit thinner would have the same effect as longer screws. There are sharp edges that don't need to be there, in the vicinity of the trigger finger, and again, in that area too the grip could be thinner. But a minute with a Dremel took care of some of those needlessly sharp edges. Making the grip solid in that area would have allowed for fully fitting it (it's hollow under the exterior). I might pour it full of resin so that I can carve away the bits that need to go.That's the criticism I have and why I didn't give it 5 stars. Once installed they do what they're supposed to do nicely. A true zero degree vertical grip isn't exactly what I wanted, as I discovered after installation. Another grip that I tried allowed only that sort of orientation. My "trick" wrist likes a bit of angle and this grip allows me to have that not quite vertical grip. That's much better, and hugely better than a grip with lots of angle to it when shooting at the bench. With a little tweaking of the mould by someone who knows what a pistol grip should be would make for a 5 star grip.

Nice looking grip when assembled, however you will need to file down on the center of the two halves to lessen the gaps on the top and bottom of vertical grip.

OK – this product consists or 3 molded plastic pieces, 3 screws, a few washers, and 2 nuts. 10-12 bucks worth of stuff that MDT charges 59 dollars for. Fine – they spent the time and money to design it, tool it, and make it. High priced but I was willing to pay it.Now – for 60 bucks I expect a higher level of quality. I do NOT expect to have to drill out a hole because their mold is wearing and the hole fills with flash. I also don't expect to have to spend time cleaning up all of the edges on the handle halves so that I don't have rough and sharp edges digging into my hand. Lastly, I expect to have parts properly made. The two handle halves are warped making in impossible for the two parts to mate cleanly ( more work required to fix this). Totally unacceptable at this price.I am not an MDT hater. I have an LSS-XL chassis and have had the chance to shoot other an ESS and an ACC. The chassis are superb. Just want to ensure that you don't read this review and write it off to "another MDT hater" because I'm not. I am however a pretty disappointed customer based on the vast difference in quality between this and other products, especially given the price point.

works great, easy installation. Using it on a custom AR 10 style precision 6.5 Creedmoor 24" rifle.
