I brought this to put on my ar 15 long rifle I’m left handed I was a little worried that that might be to small but it was perfect and man they make my rifle look exceptionable most safety selector I brought the thumb was the small and I had to take my hand out trigger placement to shoot but not with these and you can’t beat the price either was definitely the cheapest price around !!! I have several of these and every one has been a perfect fit. The lever is easy to use from either side and they function great. Flipping the safety on or off has a very positive feel with no mushiness at all. Optics Planet had a great price and fast shipping, just like always.

Like all Noveske products, it's a perfect Upgrade for your AR. A well thought-out design with Magpul to allow manipulation of the safety with either your thumb or forefinger (for righties of course). The ambidextrous safety engages at just the right angle so that I'm assured that knowing my weapon is safe while still having a quick click to fire. Another great product.

A great combination of value and quality. The short throw combined with the short offside lever greatly improves ergonomics of an already ergonomic platform. Easy to install and functions great. Can also be removed without much trouble if you decide to move it to another rifle.

I wanted to love this safety, but the Magpul plastic throw levers are just not good. They are well made, but extremely uncomfortable. You cannot really see this in the pictures, because it looks like smooth taper, but these are just cuts to remove material and taper to the top. The edges are too built out and harsh. All of the ridge lines to trim out the design and make it smaller are basically like sandpaper; the cuts are too steep and overall it makes it feel too tall rather than sloped or tapered to the top.The safety itself has a great 60 degree angle, but is very stiff. This is not necessarily a con, but it took a couple different safety springs to get one that felt "ok" and didn't feel like I was having to apply and overt amount of pressure. After some use, it seemed to break in and be better, but still required more pressure than a standard safety. This, compounded with the fact that the Magpul switches feel like a cheese grader, made me replace this with a Talon.I think if the Magpul switches were made out of metal and not plastic polymer, they probably would be fine, but they are too harsh and uncomfortable to use all the time without gloves.
