The Kentri 3.5 is a direct, drop-in replacement for your traditional carbine buffer, buffer spring, and receiver extension, extending just 3.5 inches from the rear of your receiver. No modifications required. This specific model is only compatible with carriers that use a non-integrated bolt (traditional blowback pistol caliber carbines will have different internals, coming soon). Compatible calibers include 5.56x45mm, .300BLK, and 7.62x39mm. CMMG Banshee 9mm radial delayed blowback BCGs are also compatible with this model. An M4/M16 bolt carrier is recommended for reliable function (lightweight carriers may lead to malfunctions). The Kentri 3.5 (KTR35N) includes a tube, dual-spring recoil assembly, and end cap. You will need your own bolt carrier group, castle nut, and receiver end plate to complete installation. I have the older version. Over 10k rounds in 300 aac never one hitch. I've had multiple ar pistols even with standard buffers that took work .I have to update that keep new springs in there or it will not function. I cannot recommend the alternative dfa enough though more expensive it runs till the cows come home and they will literally take care of it for life just a amazing amazing company . You will NOT go wrong with this product or dfa either is heaps of money cheaper then a MCX rattler

Good item. Works good with any 556 NATO ar15 lower. Good for building small ar15 pistol and replacing standard long buffer tube. 3.5 inches from the back of the lower receiver. The spring goes inside the bolt carrier group. Easy to install. works good.

Okay, the Pantheon Kentri worked flawlessly when I got it to the range. 100% reliable; ejection seemed more forceful but so did bolt return, so … well, it works great. It's more difficult to fully retract and lock open the action with the Kentri installed. I found it cheeked fine with a small bit of foam for spacing, and that the slung gun ran great and was perfectly accurate when fired offhand standing on my hind legs. It's pretty nifty how the Kentri buffer system works, utilizing the space in the BCG itself. This does require a different takedown (unscrewing/removing and NOT punching the pin until everything's removed), and decades of doing it the regular way have me worried I'll bollix it (so I taped over the rear pin to remind myself). It sure does shorten the OAL of the pistol into a handy little blaster: a number of onlookers gathered to check it out.

Quality is great, fit is perfect and it was very easy to install. It makes the AR more compact and easier to carry on body. Love the look on the gun too. I highly recommend this buffer system.

Best micro buffer tube works good fast shipping high quality. Would recommend deep clean after every use so no buildup on inside and cons end cap can vibrate and untwist off while shooting
