Just get it. Don’t think. Easy to install. Have one on my Maxim PDX, Sig MPX and Sig MCX. 45° or 90° is easy to set. If you can strip a rifle, this is by far easier than that. Bunch of instructional videos around everywhere too.

Selector switch is really nice looking and functional and the customer support is fantastic!I went to replace my trigger last week, which required me to take out this safety trigger. Like a moron, I was not careful when taking off the left selector switch and the detent spring went flying into the abyss of my garage after ricocheting off of my face. I sent an email to radian asking where I could buy a replacement detent spring since it was totally my fault, and they sent me an email back the same day and said that it happens and asked for my address so they could ship me a new one free of charge. Pretty awesome in my book.

If you havent gotten a 45° safety…. Do yourself a farvor and get one. Great product, sturdy, easy to install. These go on any carbine that i plan on regularly using. The snap on and off safety is great

This is THE go-to safety that I use for all of my AR builds. I find that the ambi safety is so intuitive to use that mil spec safeties just feel wrong. I also run my safeties with the 45 degrees option. I did discover though that you absolutely must use their safety detent pins if you are running with the 45 degree throw. This is because standard spring detent pins found in cheaper lower parts kits are so soft that they easily get their points chewed off. If damaged enough, the safety can fail to block trigger movement. This kit comes with a much harder safety detent pin, so please remove the older pin and use the pin that comes with this kit.

Installation is very simple however there are also many install videos available if needed. Perfect fit. Nice clean appearance and smooth operating with positive locking click in either position. Option to install 45 or 90 degree movement range. I highly recommend the Talon but would also suggest the Aero Precision Pro Ambi Safety Selector that is similar price quality and design but has a smoother less aggressive styling if that is your preference.

Only have used milspec before and let me say that this thing is awesome. The short throw adjustment if you want it is very nice option to have available. Will also order non ambi to check out because I have a grip that rides high and most ambi safetys are too long and bulky but this one is smaller on the trigger finger side. Very well made. Made in Oregon , I can almost smell the pine trees. This is a good ambi safety and is worth the money. 2 choices Mil Spec or This Radian.
