Introducing the Talon-GI, Radian is pleased to offer a variant of our Talon safety selector that features no weak side lever, for those who prefer this configuration to an ambidextrous setup. The Talon-GI comes with one long lever that is installed on a precision machined dovetail cut and retained with a spring-loaded retention stud to lock the lever in place – no screws to come loose or break. The Talon-GI can be configured in either a 45 degree short throw or standard 90 degree configuration. The safety features a “safe” and “fire” indicator on the weak side of the safety cylinder. I’ve got a lot of Radian parts including a full rifle, a couple charging handles and a few of their safety selectors. All I can say is their quality is absolutely beautiful. It’s a small piece but it really makes a difference in feel and looks great. The only downside is the price, if they were cheaper I’d have them on every AR I own. I have a couple other ambi safeties and they pale in comparison and are not a whole lot cheaper BUT they FEEL cheaper. That’s why I’ll save the extra and get the best. Having the option of 45 or 90 degree throw is a huge plus too. 10/10 recommend.

Does exactly what’s advertised, easy to install and comfortable to use. Wasn’t sure if it was going to make a difference, but it honestly does. Much faster than a 90°, and I am happy with it. Also it is sleek, and won’t get caught on things, but defined and textured enough to manipulate with or without gloves.

Use a different tool when depressing the spring to slide the safety lever on the column. Like the instructions said, I used the small tool provided, immediately slipped and scratched my lower receiver. The tool is only necessary to take the safety lever off. You can use anything non-marring to depress the spring, slide the lever on and not risk scratching the receiver. The 45 short throw felt mushy and weird, I wasn’t crazy about it so I switched it to the 90 option and it feels much better. Very clicky and I like the length of the lever, it’s easy to operate one handed and it looks fantastic. Overall pretty happy with it!

Works flawlessly. I wanted a 45 degree safety selector without being ambidextrous and this was one of the few if not only options available. I will probably run these in all of my rifles moving forward.

Works great and super easy to install, reasonable price. No complaints. Abolish the ATF and NFA. The government is trying to kill us all, stay frosty. Have food, water and a way to purify water, ammo, and medical. Shizz is gonna hit the fan soon

Radian makes some amazing products but this safety selector is perhaps the best thing they make hands down. At first I thought a safety is a safety and perhaps having used military M4s for soo long that maybe this is as good as it gets but, oh no. This safety is smooth as butta. As slick as Rick. Right out the box I was in love. The 45 degree throw is awesome. Completely ruined every other safety for me from here on out. Just as easy to install as any other safety I've installed. Once you go Radian Talon Safety you don't go back. Now I need one for my other rifle.
