The SI Flip Switch is a lightweight, low profile ambidextrous safety. Created to fill the gap between their basic but functional Hex Selector Switch and the larger go-fast Strike Switch, the Flip Switch features carefully designed ergonomics to facilitate positive, but comfortable engagement and disengagement even when wet despite its compact, low drag size. Due to numerous factors that take place during the anodization process, the color lines from batch to batch of a certain product may vary Specifications for Strike Industries Flip Safety Selector Switch: Manufacturer: Strike Industries Fabric/Material: Aircraft Grade Aluminum Hand: Ambidextrous Condition: New Gun Make: AR Platform Features of Strike Industries Flip Safety Selector Switch Ambidexterous Ergonomic Shape Modular Assembly Strike 60/90 Option Package Contents: Strike Industries Flip Safety Selector Switch 2x Shaft Screw 1x 60/90 Shaft 1x End Cap 1x Right Side Flip Switch 1x Left Side Flip Switch

I ordered this Safety switch for two reasons: One, I wanted the red so that the Safety would be easily recognizable and two, I wanted a switch that didn't protrude so far from the side of the receiver or was excessively long. I initially had the same misgivings about this Safety switch that many of the other reviewers have written about. The resistance seemed to be a bit much and the paddles were a bit sharp on the edges. I had even went ahead and ordered another Safety switch. But while waiting for my new switch to arrive I tried lightly greasing the Safety switch barrel assembly and Trigger catch and, I just started working the switch. Once every couple of hours I would simply flip the Switch OFF and ON three times. By the time my new Safety switch had arrived, I was not the least bit interested in using it. I had gotten quite used to the Flip Switch and very much appreciated the unobtrusive way it hugged the receiver. One other thing I have since done that may (certainly no significant difference) have helped is mount the switch paddles upside down (you have to switch left for right to do so). I think I like that a hair better. It should be noted that I have fairly large working (landscaping, etc) hands and I am right handed. So, when I flip the Safety OFF, I am pressing the inside knuckle area of my thumb against the switch. When I flip the Safety ON, I turn my thumb somewhat counter clockwise and use the pad of my thumb. The combination of using the switch and the manner I do it has alleviated any feeling of stiffness or sharpness. It functions as easily and as crisp as I think any nice Safety switch should!

I wanted something other than the run of the mill switches and this was exactly that. Great looks and functionality as well as easy installation. I really like Strike Industries quality and packaging, fit and finish is always great.

I installed this on my Anderson lower multi caliber and had doubts that it would fit since I was reading reviews on multiple websites that on some lowers, it’s kind of lopsided, moves back-and-forth from side to side, loose, not an exact fit, so I said I’ll give it a shot and it fits perfectly no wobble it’s not loose it screws on nice and tight. Just so everyone knows it is a little tight flipping it from fire to safe because it’s brand new of course, so move it a little bit. I flipped it up and down about 50-60 times and now it’s much smoother

Bought this to color match a build. Product is very lightweight. I wish it were just a bit longer for easier manipulation, but over all good product. Easy to install. I would definitely recommend this and every other product I’ve purchase of Strike Industries.

I love the switch. I did have to modify the spring for the detent as it was too strong. I cut about 3 rings off the end of the spring and it works flawlessly! Good resistance and feels solid when rotating the switch. I do like the choice of making it ambi or either left or right. It’s cool how interchangeable it is and you can get an ambi for under $40 is always a plus!

Looks great. The switch is a little sticky/rough in the beginning, but after 30 mins of flipping it safe/fire while watching a show, it became more smooth. The metal edges can feel scratchy (lightly painful) when you are trying to flip it quickly; personally prefer smoother less textured edges. It's designed to be short, which I realize I do not like. This decreases the torque available to flip, which increases the effort and precision needed to flip the switch compared to a standard length safety selector switch.
