If i were just reviewing the Strike Industries pins then it would be 5 stars but i have to mention the horrible excruciating wait for shipping by OpticsPlanet. I placed my order and the pins (along with a vise block/armorers wrench kit) did not ship for 2 weeks. I had also made sure both items were in stock before ordering… anyways the chrome pins look great, smooth polished finish and they fit into the receiver just fine which means size tolerances were correct. These do not come with the springs and detents, just so you know.

Had to sand down the longer flat side of the pivot/front pin. At first it wouldn't insert all the way without really forcing it into place and even then the dentent wouldn't engage. I used a dummel tool to sand/grind down the longer side you see in the picture. It didn't take much sanding/grinding to fit and now works great. My lower is not coated at all and is a Aero Gen2.

Take down pins installed nicely don’t hang up or act gritty when pulling and pushing, extremely great looking and easy to run. Bought 3 sets for future builds strike out did themselves again with a perfect product

I baught these for an AR build that I did and I couldnt be happier. They shipped flawlessly, the installation was normal, the function great, and they make my new rifle look awesome! Although I will say when I first order these takedown pins, I thought the heads would be as bright as the are in the product image, but that doesnt take anything away from them at all. Again, I'm very happy with them and they look incredible! �

Favorite AR pins hands down. They are a nice little dress up option for about the same price as standard pins, they fit every upper/lower combo ive tried: Aero Precision, PSA, Anderson, Black Rain Ordnance, Stagg, Rainier, Colt, BRAVO company, Barrett, Adams Arms. No slop, durable and easy to use. I put them on every build and i highly recommend them.

I’ve bought many Strike Industries take-down pins. Mostly red aluminum ones but I found that the chrome ones work better. You don’t need to oil them to work easily. Pushing them in or out is very easy they slide easily. Some people may not like that they’re shiny and reflective but since I only target shoot that doesn’t matter to me much. They’re very well made and made of high quality materials. I highly recommend them.
