The TangoDown Vickers Tactical Gen4, Gen5 9mm/.40 Glock Extended Magazine Catch allows for quicker magazine changes and smoother reloads. With these Magazine Extensions by TangoDown, you can release the magazine with out a magazine release switch since the extended design won’t interfere with how your mags drop. The TangoDown Vickers Tactical Gen4, Gen5 Polymer Magazine Catch is injection-molded from the same material as the factory part, so you know it’s built tough. If you have average-to-small hands, this extended magazine release is the best way to go about an incredibly swift mag swap. The longest part of this catch is only slightly longer than the OEM part, so it won’t interfere with how you grip the pistol. Also, it is the perfect length because it doesn’t drag on the ground when you set your gun down, allowing you to release the magazine without shifting your firing grip. Save time and energy during mag swaps by installing this Vickers Tactical Gen4, Gen5 9mm/.40 Glock Extended Magazine Catch. Very easy to install, lightweight. It has a good shape that feels good on the thumb, no sharp edges or anything. I was really hoping for something that extended more, to me, this is NOT much extended over the factory mag catch, just shaped differently than factory. It is more comfortable for sure, has nice grip but I still need to break my grip a little more than I wanted. (More than factory, but less than the Glock extended on a G34). This is great for carry, home, range use.

I put these on every Glock I own. I have 3 of this exact part on three different Glocks(G17Gen4,G19X,G45). I have the Gen3 version on three other Glocks. On 2 of the 3 Gen4/5 versions it did require about 10 seconds of light sanding to remove some flashing and material to make them move completely free of any drag or sticking. Other reviews have complained about it sticking/not working and therefore not recommending. I recommend them as I put them on every Glock I own. Some other reviews also complain they don't stick out far enough or aren't big enough. They are not intended to be huge extended release buttons for competition. They are for tactical use. They are bigger and easier to press than stock ones. So if you have a small piece of sandpaper and a minute of time it works perfectly. If you can't figure that out maybe ypu should follow the directions on the package that says to have a gunsmith install it.

Super easy to install. It's raised just enough over the factory release to be able to work with my shooting hand. I got black and I like that you can't tell it's different. The process was easy and the price was right. Free shipping is always great.

Is the mag release easier to drop yes, but worth it. Not really. The OEM mag release on the Gen 5 Glock 45 is just fine. You’re not saving that much time by altering your grip to drop the mag. I’m 50/50. Not really worth it. I’d of rather spent $20 on more ammo or range time.

Just what i needed to make mag releases that much easier without breaking my grip

Makes mag drops more ergonomic! No need to change grip to reach release.
