i used this on an ultra light build with other v seven titanium components. Trying to cut every gram and oz you can. function correctly, combine it with the titanium grip screw and its a decent weight reduction for under $25

If a lightweight AR-15 build is the objective and you need to retain a standard buffer like a VLTOR A5 setup, this is exactly what the doctor ordered. If you're using a captured spring setup, it isn't absolutely necessary at all, so you save more weight!
