Inspired by the legendary 1911 pistol, The Vektor SG-3 corrects trigger finger placement by precisely bolstering the palm and webbing of your hand. This places your trigger finger in parallel with the axis of the rifle and helps you build an intuitive aim point with more consistent shooting mechanics. This can become a major advantage in high speed /dynamic shooting conditions. You will immediately feel an improved hand and trigger position that is sharp and on point when you pick up a rifle fitted with a VEKTOR SG-3 grip. The rough almost sandpaper feel turned me off immediately. I sanded the faces very slightly and it smoothed up nicely. Offers a very light and we'll proportioned grip. Feels very natural to hold and aim. Compared to another skeleton grip that is one piece milled solid carbon fiber it feels delicate. I feel like if I tightened a strap wrench to it and torqued, it would most likely crack or shatter. That's not to say the avg person would do such a thing but the avg grip could certainly survive it. 5* for feel and function 3* for durability. Time will tell how strong it is. Would recommend to anyone wanting an extremely light and comfortable grip.

I purchased this directly from the manufacturer. I love how this grip feels when you are aiming and pulling the rifle into your shoulder, BUT, 11 degree angle and lack of a core means that when you hold the weapon at an angle when reloading, especially if said weapon is 16" barrel front heavy, the weapon will want to fall forward and out of your hands, without a core your fingers cannot counter-act this and the weapon can spin in your hand as your fingertips fall through the hollow center. This has not actually happened to me larping around in my living room to be fair BUT, simulating reloads and it absolutely wants to do this. I love how the grip feels otherwise. Ultimately I went back to a standard 22 degree angle grip (Magpul MOE) that allows for much more control while reloading, even though I added 1-2 oz more. I recommend this grip only for an ultra lightweight 3 Gun build where your life isn't on the line while reloading AND you probably have a much lighter weapon.Problem occurs on both of my rifles, one with a PWS MK1 MOD 2 14.5" piston upper and the other a Springfield Saint Victor 16". The Saint Victor is known for being fairly light (6 lbs 12 oz factory) and believe it or not my 14.5" PWS piston upper is actually lighter than the 16" Saint Victor upper. Meaning, unless you have an ultralight build with CF handguard and pencil barrel you will most likely encounter this problem. It's hard to describe, best way to understand this is take your rife with it's existing grip and hold it as though you are doing a reload, notice how your ring, middle and pointer finger are counter-acting the desire of the rifle to want to fall forward while rotating laterally to the right, barrel descending towards the ground? Ok no imagine your fingers with no ability to do that as the SG-3 is completely hollow. This is larping around with dry grip and dry hands. Add rain to the mix and it's probably game over during a reload in a real situation.I recommend only for and ultra-light build for 3 Gun.

I recommend this for anybody looking for a unique grip that has good quality. Fits my hand perfectly. Makes my new build look like one of a kind. Very light, will not add much weight to your build at all.

Overall I was underwhelmed by the finish of this grip. The 3D printing is sloppy and the sanding that was done wasn't symmetrical.
