Scope –
The vlotr buffer kit is awesome, only thing it needs is the little spring and detent for the receiver for “fresh build” rifles. Highly recommend. So make sure to order those also if U need them like I did

Ordered this along with the Vltor A5 Receiver Extension. The spring and buffer kit arrived in a timely manner, unfortunately the Receiver Extension is back-ordered at this time. Contacted Optics Planet and their customer service was extremely helpful and informed me where I was at in reference to receiving the back-ordered part.Looking forward to continued business with Optics Planet.

great stuff, finally arrived after 2 1/2 months. I actually ordered this well in advance of needing it after reading of backorders. no harm done here. this will be going otto an ar10 that I'm building and am writing on parts for. The buffet and spring will be used with magpul ubr2 stock.

I have the A5H3 on a rifle that runs great! The combination of a mid length gas system and this buffer system allows the rifle to stand completely still when firing. It was almost surprising. I use grease on my buffer springs to get rid of the typical scraping thwang sound some complain of so it really makes for a pleasant experience. Vltor has an amazing product here! It also came with an end plate and castle nut. I forgot about that. Was a very nice addition.

This is a drop in upgrade for a Magpul UBR 2.0 stock. There is a noticeable reduction in felt recoil compared to a standard weight carbine buffer and spring. Using this on a custom built 6.8 AR with a 16” barrel. Don’t forget to pull the spacer out of the UBR stock when switching from the standard Weight carbine buffer and spring.

Honestly, just buy this and run it. Personally, I find that these cycle smoother in shorter setups and increase parts life. I started to swap all my buffers/tube to these and never looked back. I’m going to try a green springco next because those work even better but I’ve had zero issues thus far.
