Part is actually decent. Works great. It is listed as OD Green which was my reason for buying it. It is actually anodized Sprite green and looks cartoonishly stupid. Another part in the junk pile!

I bought 2 of these on a whim (to qualify for free shipping) and boy, what a terrible mistake!First, zero instructions. No problem, mag release is easy…Second, you have to remove the extended button cover to install the release itself. Once the release is in, you can put the extended cover on…but for the love of all that is holy TEST THE RELEASE BEFORE YOU DO!Third, if you screw the mag release in one spin too far, your mag release is nearly non-functioning and your mag will not drop when you depress it.Forth, this thing rattles. Not like “a bit” – I’m talking “doing the freaking Hustle in chain mail” type rattle. Ok, crummy product – whatever, I’ll return it. Oh wait…Fifth, of course the low quality Allen screw has stripped completely and I can’t even get it out. I’m going to have to drill and tap the darn thing just to remove it.At least I can return the other one, but the only place it really belongs is the trash.

I didn't know what too expect from the price (low). It is well made, fits very good, works very well. It is very sensitive to adjustment's. As it should be. Mike.

Bought several of these and they are handy for one-handed mag removal on the range, but would not recommend them on a service rifle because the port side release could be accidentally pushed and the magazine released if contact is made with your body or load gear, especially when the rifle is hung from a sling.

This part fits really loose, i tried putting this in a couple different lowers to see if would fit differently and all had the same issue. Seemed quite out of spec. Ended up replacing it because it was so bad.

I was worried when I read some of the reviews about how people were worried about how sensitive these mag releases were but I tried bumping them on gear and myself to get the mag to drop out and had no issues.
