The Yankee Hill Machine EZ Pull Takedown Pins Front/Rear Set makes separating the upper and lower receiver much faster and easier. This Takedown Pin Set from Yankee Hill Machine features oversized buttons to make removal easy. When the upper/lower receiver mating surfaces become rough, or if the receiver is mounted to a soft surface, such as a textured or drilled forearm, these oversized pins allow you to easily slide the larger head through the pin and release it with a simple push. The YHM Fast Pull EZ Takedown Pins are designed for a limited lifetime of use, so they really have to be installed properly to avoid damage to both receivers and the pins themselves. For a great way to make sure you can easily take your pins off and put them back in, choose the Yankee Hill Machine EZ Pull Takedown Pins w/ Large Heads. These pins are nice and worth the cost of admission. Its nice having that extra sticking out it just makes taking your rifle apart much quicker and less pain for the older gents pulling them out. These also look very nice on the lowers.

This makes several of these I have, on every build I do. They make taking rifle down so much easier, especially if you have a upper/lower that are tight. These actually helped take some slack out of one of my builds.

Well built in USA , make easier to take down lower and handling, would it be a great deal for the money if included pins and springs for that amount of money. Also to high shipping prices other then than good quality and service.
El Redo –
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the fit or finish of these pins, but the sheer size of them are some what annoying. They have a tendency to snag on stuff and they just look like huge pins protruding out of the side. The only use I could see is maybe someone who has difficultly with the take down pins.

If you’re right handed, they work as intended and are decently priced. Can’t fault the company for my own ignorance; however, to help others, if you’re a lefty these protrude in a manner which will dig. Not sure why I didn’t think of it at the time.

These takedown pins are so much better than the milspec ones. They are easy to install and at least you have something to grab onto when you go to pull these things out. If you have dexterity issues with your fingers, like I have, then I believe these are a must.
