I ordered this not feeling 100% about the purchase. After using the red lab 15 degree vertical no finger groove grip for several years in an AR pistol I am very happy. I have larger palms but these are very grippy. The extra grip angle makes it more comfortable for vehicle training and in a stairwell. The g10 grip texture feels super grippy without being aggressive. it's perfect. I did not get the smooth grip I have the pirahna grip. The size is better for my girlfriend or friends with smaller hands but the grip texture is fine enough that I feel fine shooting it having larger hands. I also have larger hogue grips for my full size rifle and prefer those grip angles for a different type of shooting. It looks wicked awesome with the matching trigger guard. and a gray sling. Always great compliments from everyone

I have ordered 2 of these and returned them both. The G-Mascus green is not OD green or green at all. It is brown, white, and dark brown. I called this site and Hogue about this. Optics Planet was really good in refunding money. If you dont care about the color then get one. If you are after green dont do it. Customer service at Hogue Inc (Jill S and Tammy) said it is not green it is G-Mascus green. I told her it looks nothing like the website pics. I was told they had their gun enthusiast look at it and he said it was green, they all did. On this site the color in the pics on this website are pretty accurate.
