This kit is easy to use with the provided instructions. If you have ever drilled and tapped soft metal this will be a breeze. It works perfectly every time. I have purchased an additional pin set and will reuse the jig and bits.

Works as described, best fix mag solution. Only gripe is it doesn’t come with the tap which means a trip to the hardware store or another day waiting for Amazon to deliver. Was able to clear double feed and remove mag with bolt locked back, with no extra modifications. I run mine with the Juggernaut HF take down pin. Again absolute best fixed mag solution

Very easy to install and worked perfect. What else can you say. Great combo with the Juggernaut Hellfighter kit. If you live in California this kit appears to be the best system to keep your guns legal.

I highly recommend this Hogue Fixe Magazine Solution kit. There are other opitons, but I ultimately decided with this solution. Kit comes with high quality parts. Installation may not be for the faint of heart. Please watch the YouTube installation video before proceeding and take your time.

Already had a Juggernaut Hellfighter California compliant kit installed in my AR. It came from the dealer installed already. But the one problem with this kit is that I had no way to lock the bolt open to clear malfunction, etc. I did not have a bolt release, as it was replaced with the Hellfighter mechanism for locking the bullet button out until the action was broken open. I ordered the Hogue Freedom Fighter kit and a bolt release, separately. The Hogue kit came with good instructions but I watched the video on how to install anyway. The install was straightforward, taking my time and carefully following each step, the mechanism worked perfectly, even when cracking the upper and lower open just the slight amount that the Juggernaut Hellfighter button allowed. Now, using the Hellfighter button to break the action just slightly and the Freedom Fighter kit from Hogue, the magazine drops free with no hangups AND my bolt locks back after the last round is fired from the mag. What an ingenious invention!!!

A metal jig would be ideal, and unfortunately no similar product available for M5 platform. Composite material allows for movement, resulting in pilot holes being inconsistent and offset at times. Can be corrected as stated in installation instructions, if not for that I would have given a rating of five stars.
